Dio has been a musical inspiration to me since I was very young and I wanted to commemorate three years of his passing by doing a cover of "Too Late" from his days with Black Sabbath. Hope you enjoy my acoustic version of this beautiful, haunting song. Please help support the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund at diocancerfund.org. Thanks for watching and click here to download a free MP3 of my version! ❤

As a longtime wearer of Vans shoes, I am excited to perform at the House of Vans in the Greenpoint area of Brooklyn tomorrow night (4/3)! Last week I posted a new cover video of POP ETC's "Speak Up". I've been pretty obsessed with this song since I heard it on the Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 soundtrack, so I decided to put the piano aside temporarily and record my first video playing acoustic guitar. Hope you enjoy my version and thanks for watching!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for the kind words and messages I've been receiving about my cover video of W.A.S.P.'s "Sleeping (In The Fire)" that I posted last summer. This song has been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl and it means a lot to hear all of your thoughts on my version. Written by W.A.S.P. lead singer/guitarist Blackie Lawless, it is such a beautiful, haunting song with a touching melody that certainly has been an influence on my own musical style. Here's the video again if you'd like to watch it!

Thank you to Donna Mair at nightMair Creative for the honest and well-written commentary on my EP "Stars In My Eyes"! Check out the review in its entirety here!
"Alternative Pop artist/songwriter Melissa VanFleet may have stars in her eyes, but unlike many other young artists starting out, Melissa
already sounds like a seasoned pro, both musically and lyrically. Not many women singers hold our attention these days–many have
the pipes to do the job but lack the depth and resonance–that warm buttery tone of voice that endears us to listen again and again. Honesty
is the one word that we keep coming back to with VanFleet’s tunes– honesty of writing, of emotion, of effort. This may be Melissa’s
debut album, but this is no ‘beginner’ offering. The fabulous writing is matched by equally fabulous melodies and solid
production to make this album a joy to listen to. Over and over."
